Five species of Hygrophoraceae are reported for the first time from Mexico: Humidicutis marginata (Pk.) Sing., Hygrocybe chloochlora Pegler & Fiard, H. chlorophana (Fr.) Karsten, H. constrictospora Arnolds and H. minutula (Pk.) Murr. Descriptions and illustrations are provided in the paper.
