Crop fields and tropical deciduous forest, in the central-south region of Morelos, are the environments with the greatest diversity; similarly the highest diversity (H’) occurs in the tropical deciduous forest. The amphibiofauna is distributed in two big assemblages, one very diverse living in subtropical lowlands and other less diverse living in high and cold areas. |

Se aporta una lista actualizada de treinta y ocho especies de anfibios, construida a partir de datos históricos, complementados con salidas de campo y consulta de colecciones. Todos los registros están respaldados por especimenes de museo. Los géneros con el mayor número de especies son Bufo, Hyla y Rana. Se registra por primera vez a Bufo compactilis, Hyalinobatrachium fleischmanni, Rana maculata y Rana vaillanti. Las zonas de cultivo y de selva baja caducifolia, en la región centro sur de Morelos, son los ambientes con mayor número de especies; similarmente la diversidad (H’) más alta ocurre en la selva baja caducifolia. La anfibiofauna se distribuye en dos grandes ensambles, uno muy diverso que vive en zonas bajas subtropicales, y otro menos diverso que vive en zonas altas y frías.
