| Yhteenveto: | The check list of edaphic diplopods of a tropical rain forest from "Los Tuxtlas" Biological Station ineludes 31 species, 27 genera, 19 families and 11 orders. First records for México (one family), Veracruz State (11 species) and Los Tuxtlas (24 species) are provided. As an aid to future faunistic studies we present two taxonomic keys: an order key to the diplopods found in México and a family and genus level key to the diplopods of Los Tuxtlas station, including a short diagnosis. The poor taxonomical knowledge of the Class is discussed. |
