Se presenta una versión condensada del programa de manejo forestal para la extracción sostenida de madera de Laguncularia racemosa ( L.) Gaertn. f. en el Ejido de San Blas, estado de Nayarit. Se llevaron a cabo mediciones de atributos dendrométricos (p.e. altura, diámetro) en unidades de muestreo de 300 m2, cálculo de volúmenes de madera por aprovechar y estimación de incrementos en diámetro sobre árboles marcados. Se propone el empleo del método de reproducción de monte bajo y una determinación de la corta mediante un control combinado de área y volumen. La cosecha total anual será de 1 417 m3 en 17 sitios de corta con turnos que van de 8 años a 16 años.
