Se construyó un Sistema de Crecimiento Maderable (SCM) de tipo explícito a partir de datos de sitios con remediciones de Cedrela odorata (cedro rojo) y Tabebuia donnell-smithii (primavera) en la región de la costa oaxaqueña. Como primera fase del SCM se construyeron modelos de volumen total y comercial por árbol con base en datos de volumen obtenidos mediante métodos no destructivos. Los datos de las parcelas se ajustaron a un SCM explícito, a través de regresión aparentemente no correlacionada para lograr compatibilidad total entre componentes de predicción y proyección.
