FAMILIA COMPOSITAE TRIBU GOCHNATIEAE
En el actual estado de conocimiento la tribu consiste de cinco géneros: Cnicothamnus, Cyclolepis, Richterago, Gochnatia y Nahuatlea, éste último incluye todas las especies mexicanas. En nuestra región de estudio, solo existe el género Nahuatlea.
