Una especie nueva del género Pterostemon (Grossulariaceae) del estado de Guerrero, México
Pterostemon bravoanus sp. nov. is described from the Balsas River Basin. The species is a member of a genus so far known to encompass two species. It differs from P. mexicanus and P. rotundifolius in its larger leaves, smaller flowers and a cyme composed by more than 50 flowers.
