Se presentan los resultados obtenidos del estudio de las algas marinas bentónicas de Todos Santos, Baja California Sur, en aguas del Pacífico mexicano, durante 1989. La lista florística se acompaña de datos sobre las especies presentes en el área de estudio, el estado reproductivo, el modo y el epifitismo. Se determinaron 5 taxa de Cyanophyceae, 69 de Rhodophyceae, 20 de Phaeophyceae, 8 de Bacillariophyceae y 15 de Chlorophyceae. La ficoflora de Todos Santos es tropical y se encontró más diversa en otoño e invierno que en primavera y verano. Las Rhodophyceae dominaron en términos de diversidad. Se discute la presencia de las especies en relación con la temperatura, corrientes y mareas.
