Two species of Cyanophyceae, 69 species of Rhodopgyceae, 16 species of Phaeophyceae, 3 species of Bacillariophyceae and 29 species of Chlorophyceae were identified. The Rodophyceae were dominant in terms of diversity. Species diversity in relation to facies, temperature, light and tides is also discussed. |

Se presentan los resultados obtenidos de un estudio sobre la flora marina bentónica de la parte sur de las costas del estado de Nayarit, en aguas del Pacífico tropical de México. La lista florística se acompaña de datos sobre la distribución de las especies, en estado reproductivo, el nivel de marea, el modo, las facies y el epifitismo. Se identificaron dos especies de Cyanophyceae, 69 de Rhodophyceae, 16 de Phaeophyceae, 3 de Bacillariophyceae y 29 especies de Chlorophyceae. Las Rhodophyceae dominan en términos de diversidad.
