Se describen como nuevos y se ilustran los siguientes taxa: Astragalus guanajuatensis, relacionado con A. purpusii; Dalea emmae, también de Guanajuato y perteneciente a la sección Cylipogon; D. estoraxana, de Querétaro, vinculada al parecer con D. melantha var.berlandieri; D. lutea var. longispica, habitante de la Sierra Madre Oriental, en particular de Nuevo León, Guanajuato y Querétaro y diferente de las tres variedades ya conocidas de la especie; D. rosarum, solo encontrada en un corto sector de la Sierra Madre Oriental de Querétaro y posiblemente cercana a D. botterii; así como D. rupertiana, que proviene del noreste de Guanajuato y pertenece a la sección Parosela, pero sin encontrar acomodo en ninguna de las series de la misma, distinguidas por Barneby.
