Antecedentes y Objetivos: Loxogramme mexicana, la única especie mesoamericana del género Loxogramme, fue colectada en el Parque Nacional Montaña de Santa Bárbara (PANAMOSAB), siendo este el primer registro confirmado que se documenta para Honduras.Métodos: Durante inventarios florísticos en el PANAMOSAB se colectó una muestra de Loxogramme mexicana a 1385 m s.n.m. y durante el proceso de identificación de la muestra se encontró un error en la inclusión previa de la especie en el catálogo de pteridofitas del país.Resultados clave: Se presenta el registro del género Loxogramme para Honduras y se amplía la distribución desde México hasta Panamá de la especie L. mexicana, ilustrada con un mapa.Conclusiones: Con el fin de actualizar el catálogo de pteridofitas de Honduras, es necesario revisar las especies citadas en la literatura y ejecutar investigaciones de línea base para conocer la riqueza del grupo en el país.
