Arthropods were found only in turkey crops obtained in rainy season, being adult and immature stages of insects (Hymenoptera, Hemiptera, Coleoptera, Lepidoptera) and myriapods (Diplopoda) the common groups component of the diet of backyard-reared creole turkeys.
