| Résumé: | In this study is described a new species of whitefly, Aleuropleurocelus fouquieriasplendens Carapia-Ruiz y Sánchez-Flores sp. nov. The specimens are under the custody of the British Museum of Natural History in London, England. The label BMNH(E)2006-55 indicates the specimens were collected in California, USA, on Fouquieria splendens Engelm. Microphotographs of morphological structures of the puparia are provided and separation from other related species of Aleuropleurocelus is discussed. |
