Ants (hymenoptera: formicidae) in three species of orchids (orchidaceae) in miquihuana, Tamaulipas, Mexico

Three ant species: Formica argentea Wheeler, Liometopum apiculatum Mayr, and Pseudomyrmex elongatulus (Dalla Torre) were observed on orchids in Miquihuana, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Moreover, F. argentea Wheeler is recorded for the first time for the State of Tamaulipas.
